A new comedy by Nick Warburton.
St Peter’s runs like clockwork. Every aspect of church life is
covered by a committee or a rota, from flower arranging to finance. Well,
all except Health and Safety. After all, no-one’s ever slipped
a disk handing out the hymn books. But you can’t be too careful
these days. So it’s lucky for Vicar’s wife Rachel that new
parishioner Mr Purvis is happy to step into the role. But is the church
about to become a place where even angels fear to tread?
Storm in a Tea Chest
A new play by Alison Watt.
Globe-trotting Jenna has been there, done that and got the tie-dye t-shirt
to prove it. Her Scarborough flat is full of souvenirs of her travelling
days. But now it’s time to pack these memories away as the flat
is up for sale and Jenna is moving. The first person to view the flat
is Maggie, a housewife with a talent for DIY, who says she’s
looking to invest in property. On the face of it, the two women are
poles apart. But is there a link between them after all?
"Purvis is just the latest in a long line of comic gems
on offer." Scarborough
